About Emma

Located in Rush, my garden therapy room offers a peaceful space for personal growth.

I work with a wide range of issues, some of which include, anxiety, low self esteem, relationship issues, self-development, identity, grief and loss.

I am a qualified humanistic and integrative therapist who currently holds pre-accredited membership with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). I working towards my full accredited membership presently.

My journey into psychotherapy began with a personal observational interest in human behaviour and its impact on our mental health and well-being. This initially attracted me to a business career in human resources, followed by my role as a tutor supporting adults returning to education. My career progression naturally developed into fulfilling my interest in the supportive understanding of others with a keen personal interest in holistic healing. Here I began to broaden my knowledge and experience of alternative support.

This led me to undertake a Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy before I progressed in qualifying with a BSc honors degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I collaborate with clients to explore coping mechanisms, CBT, identifying and managing burn out, self-compassion, communication skills, self-care and self-regulation, understanding behaviours, overcoming past hurt and managing overwhelm.
